Common faults of air compressor

1. Unable to start

Fuse blown; Low voltage, phase loss of power supply, or poor circuit contact; Failure of starting electric appliance and poor contact of starting button;

Failure of main motor; The Air End fails; Fan motor overload;

2. High exhaust temperature

Insufficient lubricating oil of air compressor; Dirty oil cooler; The oil filter element is blocked; Failure of temperature control valve, failure of oil cut-off solenoid valve, damage of coil, aging or rupture of diaphragm, etc; Temperature sensor failure; The fan motor fails, the cooling fan is damaged, or the ambient temperature is too high.

3. High fuel consumption

Too much lubricating oil, bad oil or overdue use of air compressor; The oil return pipe is blocked and improperly installed; The filter element of the oil-gas separator is broken and the internal diaphragm of the separation cylinder is damaged; The compressor has oil leakage and oil leakage. Low compressor pressure: the actual gas consumption is greater than the gas production of the compressor; Inlet valve failure;

The vent valve fails and cannot be closed during loading; Pressure setting is too low, pressure sensor failure, pressure gauge failure, pressure switch failure, pressure sensor or pressure gauge input hose leakage;

matters needing attention

1. The air compressor shall be parked away from steam, gas and dust. The air inlet pipe shall be equipped with filtering device. After the air compressor is in place, it shall be wedged symmetrically with cushion blocks.

2. Always keep the outside of the storage tank clean. Welding or hot working near the gas storage tank is prohibited. The air storage tank shall be subject to hydrostatic test once a year, and the test pressure shall be 1.5 times of the working pressure. The barometer and safety valve shall be inspected once a year.

3. Operators shall be specially trained and must fully understand the structure, performance and function of air compressor and auxiliary equipment, and be familiar with operation and servicing procedures.

4. Operators shall wear work clothes, and female comrades shall put braids into work hats. It is strictly prohibited to operate after drinking, engage in anything irrelevant to operation, leave the job without authorization, and decide to replace the work by non local operators without authorization
